Please be sure to contact the CI Help Desk (http://www.csuci.edu/tc/help/) for assistance with all technical issues. Please keep in mind that the help desk is not staffed 24 hours a day so you should plan ahead to get assistance. I am available as well, but not 24 hours a day either! Teaching and Learning Innovations at CI may be helpful for tools outside of CI Learn.

CI Keys

CI Keys has support and tips on the site. There is also a community page you should check out. You may even see your own blog there sometime! Here is the support page for CI Keys.

Assistance with WordPress

If you need additional information on using technology tools in the course, beyond the CI Keys page resources and instructor support, you can access high-quality training videos on Lynda.com. To access these videos, you must go to www.csuci.edu, click “myCI”, log in with your University credentials, click on “Lynda.com” located on the list of resources on the left. Then, type the technology tool you’re using in the search box… for instance… you may want to check out the “WordPress Essential Training” as part of your homework this first week.

VoiceThread

Click here to access VoiceThread “How To” videos. We will be utilizing VoiceThread for some of our online discussions or activities.

GoogleDrive

You can always search for what you need help with and usually can find help sites or youtube videos to show quick “how to’s” if you are stuck. Hopefully you have used GoogleDocs and GooglePresentations in the past, but if not, they are easy to get going on. As always, email me for questions
